The company's representative confirmed today that orders placed after April 17 will not include the Mobile Charging Connector.
This follows Tesla CEO Elon Musk's announcement that the automaker would no longer include a mobile charging connector with all vehicle orders.
"Usage statistics were super low, so it seemed wasteful," Musk said. On the (minor) plus side, we will include more plug adapters with the mobile connector kit."

Majority of Tesla customers opposed it and after much feedback, Musk had to drop the price from $400 to $200 and it is included as a standard option when ordering.
According to the company's sale associate, it was confirmed by Teslarati that orders placed before April 17 will include the connector but for orders placed afterwards will have the option of purchasing the device.
FYI: I’m told mobile connectors will not be included for cars ordered as of April 17 onwards. If you still have an order prior to that date the connector will be included
