Hyundai unveils it's futuristic MPV, the Stargazer Minivan for the Indonesia market

Hyundai has launched their futuristic minivan, the Stargazer, for the Indonesian market, and it looks spectacular, much like the bigger Staria. While Hyundai has not yet released the whole photo gallery for the Stargazer, the images on their official website offer us a good indication of the exterior and interior design.

The Hyundai Stargazer, based on the automaker's One Curve Design, stands out from the crowd. Front and center are elegant horizontal DRLs, with a huge rectangular grille flanked by massive LED headlights.

Hyundai's MPV, like the 2017 Tucson, has a good cab-forward profile with plenty of sharp creases and squared-off wheel arches. Furthermore, the funkily fashioned wheels stand out and provide individuality to the design. With vertically stacked, towering tail lights, the cutting and creasing continues to the back end.

The Stargazer features six or seven seats placed in three rows on the inside. Cargo capacity behind the third seat is 200 lt (7.1 cubic feet) or 585 lt (20.7 cubic feet) behind the second row. There are also lots of cupholders and armrests, as well as tables fixed on the seatbacks, at least in the six-seater version shown. The dashboard and steering wheel are comparable to those seen on other Hyundai vehicles.

There's an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 4.2-inch screen amid the dials in the instrument cluster.

The Stargazer's lone engine choice, a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine producing 114 horsepower and 106 pound-feet of torque, is unlikely to excite aficionados. However, it is available with a six-speed manual transmission, which may make transporting children more enjoyable. An automatic CVT transmission is also offered. It does, however, have a lot of Hyundai's cutting-edge technology, such as SmartSense safety features like Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, as well as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
