Tesla recalls over a million vehicles in the US

Tesla is recalling roughly 1.1 million vehicles in the United States due to a flaw in the power-operated windows, which may not respond appropriately after sensing an item.

The following Tesla models are affected by this recall:

2017-22 2020-21 Model 3 Model Y 2021-22 Model S and Model X

As of September 16, Tesla had received no warranty claims, field reports, collisions, injuries, or deaths connected to the fault.

To address this issue, vehicles in production and pre-delivery confinement got a software upgrade. Tesla will also distribute an over-the-air upgrade to the remaining impacted vehicles.

Tesla service centers have been alerted, and owners will be notified on November 15.
