Lexus 2024 LX Didn't Come With Any Major Updates: Starting Price is $90,515

As the calendar turns to the new year, the 2024 Lexus LX maintains its presence without any major alterations, following its minor updates for the 2023 model year.

Having received a complete redesign in 2022 and now exclusively offered in the LX 600 trim, the current-generation Lexus LX shares its underpinnings with the latest full-size Toyota Land Cruiser, known as the 300 series. Notably, this specific iteration of the Land Cruiser will not be making its way to the U.S. shores; instead, the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser designated for the American market is a smaller vehicle, closely resembling the size of the Lexus GX.

Sharing its platform with the Land Cruiser grants the Lexus LX formidable off-road capabilities, further complemented by features like Multi-Terrain Select off-road drive modes, Crawl Control, hill-descent control driver aids, a Multi-Terrain Monitor camera system, and height-adjustable suspension. With the U.S.-spec Land Cruiser shrinking in size and cost, the Lexus LX now stands as the definitive flagship among Toyota and Lexus's off-road offerings.

What sets the LX apart from Toyota models is its fusion of off-road prowess with elevated luxury and a sophisticated infotainment system. This system features a dual-screen layout, with a 12.3-inch upper screen and a 7.0-inch lower screen. Additionally, it comes with standard wireless connectivity for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enhancing the overall tech experience.

Under the hood, the sole powertrain option remains a robust 3.4-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine, generating 409 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. This powerplant is coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a standard four-wheel-drive system that includes a low-range mode.

The pricing for the 2024 Lexus LX begins at $90,515, with an obligatory $1,350 destination charge—an increase of a mere $10 from the 2023 model. The lineup offers various trim levels, including the base model (unnamed), Premium ($98,465), F Sport Handling ($104,725), Luxury ($106,465), and Ultra Luxury ($130,605). Enthusiasts can anticipate the arrival of the 2024 Lexus LX at dealerships before the year concludes.
