World's most expensive SUV - The $2 million Karlmann King, it is based on a Ford F-550 heavy-duty truck

The $2 million Karlmann King, which debuted at the 2017 Dubai Auto Show, remains one of the world's roughest and most expensive SUVs.

The Karlmann King was designed by a Chinese automobile manufacturer, IAT Automobile Technology, and is being constructed in Europe by a crew of 1,800 people and it takes them up to 15 months to complete the project.

The model’s production is said to be limited to just 10 units, maintaining its uniqueness.

The stealth fighter aircraft lookalike's body was made using carbon fiber and steel and was based on a Ford F-550 heavy-duty pickup truck. It's matte black with angular surfaces that reflect radar and brilliant white Led display.

The 4.5-tonne four-wheel-drive SUV (or 6-tonne bulletproof variant) is powered by Ford's 6.8-liter V10 engine, which produces 398 horsepower and has a peak speed of 87 mph.

Its custom-designed interior includes a starry ceiling, mood lighting, a 45-inch 4K LCTV, a refrigerator, a Nespresso machine, a PlayStation 4, and private safes, all of which are controlled by a centralized smartphone system.

The SUV also come along with other customisation options, which cost over $3.5 million.
